The Art in my story
We are so worried that Artificial intelligence will take out jobs. I think we should be concerned, but now more than anything our works should be an expression of our story, of who we are and why we do what we do. Like ART.
True art is an expression of a story. The story of the artist. His or her perceptions, belief, fears, hopes, his or her being, his or her essence. Art is the expression of the soul. And our future jobs should mimic what art is, they should express who we are, a people with a soul story not a robot without a past or a hopeful future.
The artist Laolu Senbanjo tells my hopes for our future jobs. He tells what I believe art to be.
In his 2017 TED TALK, he has defined the true spirit of being human. The true spirit of being African.
